PCT’s Ultra Mini Fiber Node (UMFN) offers flexibility in operation and unchallenged price vs. performance in a unique miniature housing. Low distortion and flexible input levels allow for deployment where conventional nodes are impractical. Low power consumption and surge
withstand design provide low energy consumption and long-term, trouble free operation. Designed as a network segmentation tool, the UMFN allows node splitting and is available is receiver only configurations. For applications requiring return transmitter, PCT’s standard Mini Fiber Node (MFN) offers return path transmitter choices of 1310 FP, 1550 DFB, or 8 wavelengths of CWDM.

PCT’s Mini Fiber Node offers flexibility in operation and unchallenged price vs. performance in a unique miniature housing. The low distortion and flexible input levels allow for deployment where conventional nodes are impractical. Low power consumption and surge withstand design provides for low energy consumption and long-term trouble free operation. Designed as a network segmentation tool allowing node splitting in one-way and two-way applications, the Mini Fiber Node product line now offers a complete feature set, including 1310 and 1550 nm transmission using FP and DFB return lasers with CWDM wavelengths (available from 1490 to 1610 nm) and mid-split frequency versions.
